Yoga
· We have some exciting news! We will be adding a second yoga class on June 13th at Columbia Heights Recreational Center located at 1480 Girard Street NW, Washington, D.C. This class will be held on the second Saturday of the month from 2-3 PM, and Jennifer Hanft will be returning to teach this class. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one along with a towel to serve as a bolster. If you do not have a mat, please bring two towels. One will serve as your mat and the other as a bolster. We will also have our regular Circle yoga class on Sunday, June 14th with Bonnie Foote from 3:20-4:30PM located at 3838 Northampton St. NW, Washington, D.C. Tandem Rides
· Sign up by Tuesday at 8 p.m. for our 6 p.m. rides on Thursday night in Eastern Market and Friday night in Bethesda! https://forms.gle/YAdsEQbKSpZABg2Y7 Note that we aren’t biking on June 11th or 12th, because of the bike camping trip.
Goalball
· Come to Goalball on June 6th from 10 AM to 1 PM at 1480 Girard St. NW, DC.
Bike Jerseys
· MWABA is ordering a new batch of “Tandemonium” Bike Jerseys! Sign up here if you’d like to place an order: https://forms.gle/DeM5N81tEHhrmYM7A We’ll get both short and long-sleeve jerseys if there’s enough interest. The jersey is yellow and light orange, with the blue, red, and white MWABA logo on the front. The back has pink cherry blossoms, says "Join the TANDEMONIUM at gomwaba.org!" and has the Terrapin bike store logo. The sleeves have tandems on them and the sides say gomwaba.org. Short-sleeve jerseys will probably cost between $45-$55 each, and long-sleeve jerseys will probably cost between $55-$65 each. Jerseys are available in men’s and women’s fits, and in sizes from XS-4XL.

Youth Club Update
The next Youth Club event will be goalball on June 13. If we have enough participation, we will do it as a mini tournament. Parents, look out for an email with additional details and RSVP request this week.

Adaptive Football Event June 25th
Contact Jocelyn Hunter at Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind at jhunter for details about a special adaptive football sports day on June 25th. This activity will be hosted by Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind and will take place at 10:00 at EL Haynes Public Charter School. It is mainly for youth who are blind or visually impaired, but adults are eligible to participate. Every participant must complete a waiver that you can receive by contacting Jocelyn.
