Tandem Biking

· Sign up by Wednesday night for our next tandem ride on Saturday, January 10th, meeting at Eastern Market at 10 a.m. https://forms.gle/znqWEM6A6dY7A8hM6 We could use more captains for the ride!

Goalball

· Come to Goalball on January 10th from 10 AM to 1 PM at 1480 Girard St. NW, DC.

2026 Waiver Form

Board Member Elections

· MWABA will have elections for multiple openings on the Board of Directors. Board member terms last for three years. We request interested individuals to please review the board member qualifications and descriptions that are attached to this email.

· If you are interested, please email a short paragraph describing why you are seeking to join the MWABA Board and why you believe you are qualified to do so by January 31, 2026 to mwaba.inc. If you have any questions or need any more information please email mwaba.inc.

2026 Membership Dues

· It’s time to renew your membership! Call for 2026 annual dues. Dues are $25.00 and cover your membership until December 31, 2026. Annual dues help support all of the activities and events that we organize throughout the year: goalball, tandem cycling, yoga, kayaking, hiking, beep kickball, camping, etc. as well as social gatherings and community outreach efforts. We plan to bring you even more exciting opportunities in the coming year! Dues also cover your ability to request financial assistance for participation in other sporting activities, and the right to vote on and run for MWABA board positions. Dues can be paid via Venmo, user name: @MWABADC or Paypal, user name: treasurer mwaba.inc and we will work with you on a case by case basis. Dues are requested to be paid by January 31, 2026.

Other Activities

· Catalyst Sports hosts monthly adaptive indoor rock climbing clinics on Sundays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Upcoming clinics are on January 25th, February 22nd, March 22nd, and April 26th at SportRock Alexandria; and January 11th, February 8th, and April 12th at SportRock Rio in Gaithersburg.
