Goalball

· Come to Goalball on December 20th from 10 AM to 1 PM at 1480 Girard St. NW, DC.

2026 Membership Dues

· It’s time to renew your membership! Dues are $25.00 and cover your membership until December 31, 2026. Annual dues help support all of the activities and events that we organize throughout the year: goalball, tandem cycling, yoga, kayaking, hiking, beep kickball, camping, etc. as well as social gatherings and community outreach efforts. We plan to bring you even more exciting opportunities in the coming year! Dues also cover your ability to request financial assistance for participation in other sporting activities, and the right to vote on and run for MWABA board positions. Dues can be paid via Venmo, user name: @MWABADC or Paypal, user name: treasurer mwaba.inc and we will work with you on a case by case basis. Dues are requested to be paid by January 31, 2026.

Fundraising Campaign

· Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to our Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign. We’ve surpassed our $1,000 goal!

Other Activities

· Mason Neck State Park (which we visited for a nature walk in October and a bike ride in November) is considering installing RightHear beacons to make its hiking trails more accessible. If you’ve used RightHear and would like to provide Mason Neck State Park any feedback, you can email Pam Cressey, the Vice President of Friends of Mason Neck State Park at: pjcressey.
