Join us for tandem biking, a bike camping skill-share, the youth goalball tournament, and more!

Tandem Biking

· Sign up by Tuesday at 8 p.m. for our Thursday night ride from Eastern Market and our Friday night ride from Bethesda: https://forms.gle/a3fC438hzv9aH8m89

· Sign up for our bike camping skill-share on May 17th in Rock Creek Park! Feel free to join even if you aren’t coming on our tandem bike camping trip. https://forms.gle/PkvZA4HXtDzjcc6s7

· Tandem Demonstration on June 14th: The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) Greater Alexandria chapter is seeking tandem captains for a demonstration for Project RISE students on June 14th from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lyon Village Community House in Arlington. If you’re interested, please email: mwaba.inc

· Do you have space to store a tandem bike? We are looking to relocate a couple of bikes in our fleet. If you have the space to keep a bike at your home, please contact Chris at cegeorge1 or 480-276-3256.

Goalball

· There will be no Goalball practice on May 17th. The men’s and women’s teams will both be competing at the southeastern regional tournament in Atlanta Georgia.

· Youth Goalball: There is still time to sign up for our first ever Youth Goalball Tournament that is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, from 10:00-1:00 at the Columbia Heights Community Center in Washington, DC. · Book Release: Joyfully and Faithfully Fit: The Extra Mile. Lindsey Rambo has generously offered to donate proceeds from her newly released book to MWABA! https://a.co/d/hV5Tesy Over the course of eight weeks, readers will be equipped with preparation, knowledge, and skills to complete a 5K run while growing their relationship with God. The purpose of this book is to provide a faith-filled approach to fitness for individuals who desire to further develop their running abilities and Bible study practices.
