Come to Goalball!
If you’ve never tried it, or you haven’t played since you were a kid, now is the time to join us. Fall is for fundamentals! We will be teaching the basics every weekend. So come out to the Columbia Heights Community Center, 1480 Girard St NW on September 28, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and learn how to play!
Baseball Outing:
Mary Flood is getting a group of MWABA members and wannabes together to go to a Nationals game. They are playing the KC Royals tomorrow (September 24) at 6:45 PM. You can go on the MLB tickets website and click on Tuesday Deals and Steals. Then scroll to the game on the 24th and decide how many you want. Mary is sitting in Section 236. If you have any questions, email Mary at camflood1.
Our next hike will take place Sunday, October 13, where we’ll travel to Calvert Cliffs State Park in Lusby, MD. We’ll enjoy the beautiful trails steps from the Chesapeake Bay and also do some fossil hunting near the beach! It’ll be a fun tactile experience.
